Project Control Manager
- Assists in establishing the clients’ objectives in respect of the project in terms of utility, function, quality, time, cost and constructability and makes recommendations for achieving these objectives, respecting the project master schedule.
- Preparation of a budget based on project contract commitments and internal WBS.
- Reference for cost control and reporting.
- Identify trends in cost and progress performance and recommend actions to resolve and correct.
- Supervise the project controls team assigned to the project.
- Support the PM in any relevant area.
Project Planner
- Collaborates with Project Team in the project schedule review and endorsement at Contract awarding before Project Start-up.
- Supports the Project Manager in the setup of the Project Execution Strategy and Contract Master Schedule, aimed at managing project planning, reporting and control related matters.
- Ensures the Integration of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Plan, developing a complete lifetime contract master-schedule with the adequate and necessary level of detail.
- Develops the (CMS) Level 4 integrated EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) schedule based on contract requirements in co-operation with all involved parties, such as Project Engineering, Procurement, Construction Managers, and obtains their commitment on a Common Target Schedule.
- Formally and periodically updates the CMS on agreed data from parties, highlighting the changes to Project Control Manager and Project Manager.
- Commits to feedback any potential improvement to Standard CMS and the integration with other systems or instruments.
- Implements and issues a comprehensive and supported Progress Reporting System to provide the Owner, the Project Manager all the necessary info to be used as a basis for decisions (i.e. Target, Actual & Forecast), to maintain analyses in a proactive manner the possible impacts to contractual key dates on a continuous basis.
- Prepares and maintains detailed manpower schedules for Construction Site and fabrication workshops (where applicable).
- Ensures that the correct scope of work is reflected on all schedules and integrates inter-discipline requirements and constraints to establish the best logical work sequences.
- Ensures that the correct schedule structure is in line with the contractual one at the set-up of the CMS.
- Properly identifies and monitors all key interfaces (engineering subcontractors, suppliers, construction subcontractors and so on…).
- Ensures that contractual and internal milestones are indicated and monitored in the Contract Master Schedule for all project phases.
- Regularly reviews and monitors the progress of the project. When potential problems are identified, suggests the proper measures to be taken and provides additional detailed planning to suggest effective action is taken to avoid or remedy any impacts.
- Monitors the application of corrective actions put in place.
- Responsible for development, review and submission of the project controls portions of the periodical reporting towards Company, based on feedback from other disciplines and management compiles.
- Assists the Project Manager (and Contract Administrator) in his role to handle claims, by supporting him with the preparation of the relevant back up documents (schedules or various work package details).
- Periodically interfaces with Cost Controller and Project Control Manager in order to provide them with the progress information necessary to the process of approval for the subcontractors cost report.
- Periodically supports the Project Control Manager in the preparation of the Project Analysis Review.
- Establishes with the Project Control Manager main indications for progress monitoring system.
- Actively implements on the project the standard Company software.
- Represents the project towards the Customer with regard to planning related issues.
- Guarantees that CMS and its updates reflects current best strategy for project execution co-divided with Project Team.
Project Progress Controller
- Collaborates with the Planner and Project Control Manager in setting up a project specific Project Control System. In specific this relates to:
- Application of Engineering control system on Detailed Engineering Documents list
- Preparation of SAP Procurement Plan input file (including definition of progress points) based on input from Planner Scheduler
- Uploading of Procurement Plan in SAP
- Preparation of project specific templates for S-Curves and Histograms
- Preparation of project specific templates for Periodical Reporting to Client (Daily, Weekly, Monthly….)
- Preparation of project specific templates for direct hours collecting
- Responsible for internal request issuing for updating of periodical reports and assuring no delays in delivering of updates occur
- Responsible of final updating of periodical reports based on specific updates delivered by various project disciplines and assuring that Contractual time for reporting is respected
- Responsible for progress updating based on received input. In specific this relates to:
- Updating of Engineering progress based on method established and input received from Engineering department
- Periodically check Company Procurement system (SAP) for new events (RDA, PO, DDT) in order to link new RDA and PO events to defined items on Procurement Plan and consequently making sure that progress is updated
- Preparation of Construction Work Packages from project documents
- Issuing of Construction Work Packages for Updating to Subcontractors
- Receiving and finalization of Construction Work packages update
- Supporting Planner Scheduler in periodical verifications of progress directly on site in order to ensure that received updates are correct
- Daily collecting of direct man-hours spent by construction sub-contractors
- Supports Planner in preparation of any additional reports for his area of competence
- Assists the Planner in his role to prepare all progress related backup documentation and performing analysis of project execution, for his area of expertise.
Commissioning Engineer
- Support the Commissioning Manager in delivering the preparation and execution of electrical Commissioning activities in order to deliver facilities to Operations in accordance with the project technical standards and schedule
- Provide Commissioning Support during start-up activities up to project completion
- Perform all the Offshore activities according to all applicable site/project safety procedures
- Perform all the activities in accordance to the project Schedule
- Attend PTW (Permit to work) meetings and approve work permits (if required)
